Redtail Mental Health is a teaching practice guided by empathetic curiosity. Our clinicians engage in intensive ongoing supervision to ensure the highest quality of care. In addition to evidence-based clinical skill, we believe that the best therapy is grounded in philosophy and neuroscience as well as psychology.

We use basic tools in our work; the most powerful is the therapeutic relationship, supported by both clinical tradition and research as the foundation of the change process. From this, we collaboratively build skill in attachment, mindfulness, cognitive flexibility, and insight. Survivors of trauma are guided towards a corrective emotional experience using EMDR. The work moves towards cultivating strengths and connections, exploring values, and excavating a deeper meaning in our lived experiences.

We serve adolescents and adults from a wide array of backgrounds. Many of our clients are men or people that resonate with the masculine and rural experience. As social workers we are affirming of all presentations of gender identity and ethnicity and are committed to upholding the principles of social justice.

In addition to outpatient psychotherapy services, we partner with a variety of collaborators to support group work, psychedelic-assisted journeywork, psychiatric medication management, and employee assistance programs (EAPs).
